or not. obviously i can't seem to keep my mouth shut =] had dinner at Aerin's down at raffles city marketplace..food's average but they served it up the proper way meaning they'll only start with your mains after you have finished your starters or at least cleared your last prawn popper! yvonne looked like she's glowing ahem down there but we all know it's really her ultra sleek n techie htc touch ;p sorri sal i can't phoshop away ur circles hee

ha! comparing the food zhi muis had the night before and the 'specially prepared' food for the heng dais the next day...bride got married off from the hotel suite interesting ^_^ heard a lame joke too one of the brothers asked 'why you choose to be zhi mui when you can be zhi gong?' (pls translate into canto) T_T dinner itself was good and the newly-wed played a video of the groom kneeling down to propose to the bride when he fetched her at the airport! so sweet --'---@

foxy N dazs yes my dear as in Häagen-Dazs dun ask what happened to haagen =[ anyway she looked more like an ewok to me!! hahaha

celebrating more than a decade of friendship since primary school! it's been eons since we last saw each other n shen does look like a sri lankan either that or a very happenng japster hee we had each dish in large servings so in the end barely touched the fried rice/cereal prawn/sambal kangkong....-_-

eeew gross!

i'm not the most tidy and clean person around you know? my bedroom is rather adept at collecting dust in a matter of days (reason being i don't and can't open my windows) i probably rear 10+ house spiders which contribute to the daily cobwebs spun in the hidden corners of my room plus the fact that my tolerant level is quite high which means that my bedsheets go unchanged in weeks. i have this philosophy which gets me through life and the general house chore guidelines, that is, to clean only when i can no longer stand it...actually it's a mood thing also and i'm quite the lazy being. effectively i will only wash the bathroom when all my fallen hair gets stuck in the drainage (the amount of hair i lose whilst shampooing is akin to the chunks one can find in 貞子's well) and clogs it up * boh bian lor have to remove otherwise water cannot go down* i start moping the floor only when my feet feels like it's walking on cotton/wool after layers upon layers of dust have settled on it! geez i wonder how i can breathe in such an environment?

fyi that's 3 magiclean wipes!! it's still not very clean because the 3rd wipe is not exactly white yet but wth...i have to blog and entertain u guys rite?

where to get dressy stuff for weddings



first more raving on dah lexus...complimentary touch up paint lor sigh luxury cars are the way to go forward! anyway i found out today there's a cheaper way to remove dents @ this capitol centre carpark so i shall be sending my car there to check out how much it is to remove 2 pinsize dents on my boot! *smartarse me caused that while reverse parking* i swear it's lousy carpark designing coz this huge concrete slab was hanging from above hence my sensors din pick it up lor =p


not sure if it's ethical to take pics of the gowns inside but this lovely shop jojo found is @ stamford house..they have private screening for the bride/bridesmaids n dresses average ard S$400+?? the designs are simple without being too daniel yan which is basically all slinky n formal AH DOI not everyone has an hour glass figure you know? i wonder if i will ever be buying something like that for my brothers' weddings unless they decide to remain bachelors...or at least till my figure gives way!!


then we had curry flavour next door! which is the least of my fav but supposedly good la *scratches head in puzzlement* curry IS still curry no matter japanese or not haaaaa

finally wild rocket...

food @wild rocket is not that cheap for a rather small eatery as theirs which always nearly needed reservations unless you want dinner after 9pm...beef carpaccio!

that's the crabmeat chilli spaghetti in which the crab tasted refreshingly sweet and fresh (it was not that spicy so i cld have a go at it)! i had mushroom fettuccine in truffle cream but dunno why pic din turn out =[ i thought the pasta and sauce were all done nicely!

risotto with soft bone pork! *looks a wee bit like bb food eh?* next time if i'm feeling rich think i'll go try their mains like lamb ($33!) n more meaty stuff..

desserts :)~ the very standard warm choco cake w i-scream and strawberry cheesecake *yummilicious* the cream cheese whipped on top of separate layers of strawberrie puree/crunchie cake base and more creamy mixture...i guess the selling point for them is the chef's way of infusing abit of eastern food into the menu giving guests the occasional surprise eg. laksa pasta and the chilli crab spags my fren had ^_^


the funny thing is when the waiter (whom btw most of them sport diamond/crystal looking earrings *ahem*) asked if we wanted still or sparkling...we all assumed that no iced water aka tap water wld be served therefore trying so hard to blend in with the posh environment we all ordered drinks w/o opening our mouths to check first (ok la not to be singaporean but who wld want to fork out an extra $4.5 for coke or teh?) T_T anyway so jojo had her panna spring water which i happily switched with my tap water while she went to the loo then she proceeded to tell us the difference between her four dollars fifty cents tuscany's most famous spring water and normal complimentary iced water from the tap...well apparently STILL water to her is sweeter but of coz this taste test was done while she was actually sipping from my glass of iced water! aha~~cannot be smart all the time la doc...
