arty farty

okie i went to join in the festivities of singapore biennale (bi:nearli or pronounced as bie-nah-lay as in finale) 2006 well because one of my fren had to bring her taiwanese guest around..so i tagged along =) otherwise it's not likely i'll be able to drag anyone down to explore the arts scene lor (we are after all singaporeans where food is valued more than art mah). i'm more excited about the national museum but i'll blog on that when i go next week. a $5 ticket will get you to 4 main venues of the exhibition and it's valid for 2 months. plus they have free shuttle service running so it's really a good bargain...but i heard the whole purpose of this is for the imf again. why can't we be more proactive? anyways just a note...i can't give credit to the artists for the photos taken coz i don't take notes wat!


in one of the courtroom of the old supreme court (now known as cityhall la not the mrt station tho') basically they just set up lcd monitors depicting different angles of a life-sized doll watching something...

haha me 见不得光 like them!

donna ong's work....a volunteer told us to look out for this so i remembered her name. it's quite creepy like a science experiment gone wrong...n who could forget chucky?

you go into this huge room with sound of the engines roaring and wings of the plane at each side..makes you wanna go on holiday huh?

yah i purposely took black n white pictures lor so that effect will be better but of coz some art pieces you have to see in color la
