blur like sotong!

omfg! i'm not my usual self...my dear friends out there who read this pls find it in your heart to forgive me first. i am suffering from the initial stages of dementia and as a result, i tend to get my dates mixed up...so there i was happily preparing for a dinner date with my best bud and had everything like the prezzie n venue all planned out. and i had to casually ask her 'so what are you doing tmr? which happens to be her actual birth date or so i thought -_- she went like 'nothing le why?' hmm fine she's playing along with me 'huh? not going out with peiming meh?' 'nope what's the occasion?' i was like errr ok she's good still pretending (u know la sometimes gals like to act coy).....'tmr 17th mah' she shot me a look...something ain't right i wanted to add on ' isn't ur birthday oct 17th?' oct 17th oct 17th don't tell me i got her birthday wrong??? it's not 17th it's 13th or 10th? cannot be wat!! *abit of panic attack* (flashback in movies like groundhog day where the heroine got trapped in some time wrap or went back to the future) soo paiseh liaoo don't dare to confirm with her in case she thinks her fren of 10 freakin years got her b'day wrong!

yes guilty as charged. the poor gal had to pretend and look all happy the whole night when i premeditated her celebrations 1 month in advance lor!!

in the end hor becoz i din make reservations we went to tcc at lido instead sigh things just keep getting better doesn't it? kahlua salmon n macaroni gratin ;)

sotong queen: not my fault i remembered the date correctly le just din register how this month being sept and your bday month being october is related somehow *-*

then this morning i woke up and realised i have not paid for my credit card bill..darn! went online to pay so no late charges mah and rechecked my transactions. double whammy! DBS charged me for this insurance scam thing which i tot was settled liao by calling them to cancel it in AUGUST? kinda pissed when the customer service insisted as long as i accepted the call from the telemarketer to send me the brochure or information document on card/cash shield it means acceptance...wtf? pretty easy $ for the telemarketer to earn commission by just cold calling pple to let them have the stuff sent to their address lor without explaining that it means ACCEPTANCE of the INSURANCE SCAM! unless if i reply within 7 days which i did otherwise it means auto-activation! what rubbish is that? silence means consent is brought to a whole new level by idiotic sales tactic. so how can they accuse me i accepted their offer....it's only $1.72 lor but they freaking made me wide awake n mildly irritated on a sunday morning. you are so gonna get it from me tmr when i storm down to your branch office. i am singaporean ok and in a bloody complaining mood!
