irreconcilable differences

it is inevitable that i am leaving but not regrettable. celine came up with the top 10 things she will miss once out of samsung. being singaporean and kiasu, how could i lose out since my departure comes before hers...i present you

Top 11 Things I will MISS!
#11

i will miss dashing across the road with my heart leaping out each time. with my low (yes very low) 人寿保险 it is no wonder the feeling is more exhilarating than a roller coaster ride. especially with what, drivers who think they drive a tanker and have an agenda towards ya. they prob reckon they are helping the traffic police... by scaring the wits out of you in jaywalking. self-righteous morons.

#10

our very own 'times square' where the huge plasmas remotely (yes in the very far sense) remind you that you are in NYC or shinjuku except that our govt prob use it to propagate instead.it's all very exciting because everybody else thinks that ppl who work here are very loaded with spending power hence? they use freebies to capture our attention. n how do you know it's a popular place? we have all sorts of ppl sitting down next to the lawn idling. i'm rather surprised no one brought their picnic mats i mean ppl in the west do it all the time...

i will SO SO miss queuing for my food. i think it has something to do with singaporeans n Qs. even though we have the most eateries congregated within 20 feet n with 90% of the shops selling similar items aka 鱼汤 i can queue up to half an hr for 1 bowl *win already lor* lunch time almost gone liao...then of coz what are the chances of finding 小强 scuttling across the floor/table or landing in your soup anywhere else in clean s'pore ?

# 8

i will miss x'mas in samsung! wait i will not miss x'mas at all becoz we dun even have a freaking x'mas tree lor LOL owners.. even tho' we were at fault first and prob cause the lack of interest for tenants in this bldg but puleez have some heart n deck the halls fa la la la la ;-]

# 7

i will also dearly miss the first intelligent elevator system in singapore which just gets smarter and smarter each time. to disprove that we are techno-idiots now we have arrows (in addition to alphabets) to direct us to the correct lifts. i just wish they'd solve the many other complaints tho like the real problems we face eg. getting frequently stuck in it, waiting time, etc.

# 6

shucks! there goes my free ride home!

# 5

i will miss the smell of nicotine on my hair/clothes/bag.in fact it's so addictive i'm gonna spray it on as a kinda perfume next time...just to remind me how black my lungs are from inhaling the 2nd hand-smoke all these years and i have the koreans to thank for being so thoughtless. i mean go smoke in ur own home and stink up the whole family hello? i'm just work for u lor then who can forget the classic 시발 coming out of their mouths every now and then..duh which other co. gives you a crash course on swearing in another language? heh pls note that making derogatory remarks is totally irrelevant with my departure.

# 4

i will miss all the hotel inspections.. good food good company special invites to screenings appreciation events all the perks of hotel bookers =] my b'day vouchers boohoo hoo ¬ le sigh

# 3

i will definitely miss my corner which makes the work place less work place and more ME...otherwise it'd just be another workstation won't it? haa i know i get territorial sometimes ^_^

# 2

err which other company pays you to msn, watch youtube, play yahoo games? enough said o(>< )o n i'll prob have less time to blog after this!!
