you know it's good that the communications breakdown gave us a breather from the online madness...ok not so good for the taiwan quake victims *my condolences to them* but this slowdown in the internet world makes us reflective on how reliant we have become to this addictive hobby that is both inpassive and yet so passé . indeed as einstein said technology has surpassed our humanity. hands up for those who can't envision a world without computers...bugger my youtube is sloooow another irritating matter is this whole 'jolly golly' holiday season. scrap all the overhyped festivities. reason being i remain idle from the 24th til the new year. if i had known i'd plan better vacation plans lor. so what do lone single femmes do on the eves back to back?
TOP TEN COUNTDOWN METHODS FOR SINGLE NOT SO WHITE FEMALES
you could go to any forums or irc chat/msn and countdown with the losers who happen to be online then. when the clock starts ticking countdown together and throw confetti in your own room (this works much better if u have a webcamera).
gather some friends who are single and not so white then rent videos to watch in someone's house. when the time comes pretend it's so frivolous to countdown so you just shout your loudest into the ear of the nearest person HAppiee nEw YeAR!!
watch a movie that screens through midnight so you won't even know when all the happy pple outside are really having a blast pushing everyone else.
tag along with your parents when they have family gathering of sorts.
for xmas simply volunteer for some caroling action then belt out all your fav xmasey songs with a paper bag over your face (lest they find out who sang out of tune).
use a long white candle and holder to get you into joining the mass of any church.
buy a really cheap airticket and jetset to any gf's place in the world that you can crash.
hang around the marina bay area and pretend you don't know what the fuss is when huge crowds gather @ the esplanade till pple start counting backwards and u look up just in time to see fireworks. ha! i totally dig them fireworks light up my day woohoo.
blog. create separate entries from 10-1 in a cyber attempt to countdown. timing would be crucial here.

i have never seen so much rain my whole life...it doesn't seem to stop at all luckily i have my pink umbrella to make me feel better about getting wet in this weather *yah i've heard many 'wet' jokes before so don't start*
we ate at bosses 黑涩会 and maan the food din really match the stylish decor there's no 汤汁 in the xiaolongbao n the way they served my la mian looks like it's been eaten halfway liao btw all portions are puny one of the sides we ordered was soft shell crab in rice roll/prawn ball with goose liver (which i complained coz 1 ball got no goose liver inside then they gave us compli (*￣o￣*)>)
anyway i realised there's not much footwear i could wear when it rains coz certain shoes are just not meant to get wet in. if i wore my sports shoe with socks and it got wet with me being out the whole day oh man the stench will knock you out in an instant and you won't need your sleeping pills no more. if i wore sneakers the whole pair of shoes will stink so much i'd have to consider buying new ones the next day. i kid you not unless you are a fan of 咸鱼. lol i can't understand why ppl's feet won't smell if they've been soaked in water 24/7 and not be able to breathe at all...if i wore my heels/sandals they'd be so slippery my entire foot can go through the blistering top cover or i'd just risk losing them when i go splish-splash on wet surfaces. so my only console is HAVAINNAS! i know i know they're flip flops but they still save my day...guys have it easier
they can wear their yellow boots out anytime

i found the perfect office!!
after endless days of searching for an office space i've found it! *jumps for joy ecstatically* it's puuurfect and really grand and everything nice lor! yup it's even all done up and set up liao ~

went to meet my fren for lunch at somerset and we ate at this jap restaurant @ cuppage the yakitori chargrilled type...their set lunch only costs $12.90 le got 4 sticks 
of yaki n minced meat/mushroom/seaweed on the rice plus red bean mochi dessert! quite different from the standard fare of sashimi =p was really full then had to go view office space again! but before that i had time to go shopping whahah FCUK SALE (￣(エ)￣) after dat was at marks n spencer xmas shopping *phweet* think this is really the time when pple are feeling gracious and generous about giving..just look at all the gifts being snapped up randomly omg this reminds me i have to find somewhere to go for xmas *humph* everybody also got plans liao married ones spend with family attached one spend with bfs sigh...life sucks

DIY maki party bento set
first you have to get all the ingredients and make sure you cut them into strips
you need sushi rice (add slightly more h2o than normal n after cooked mix with vinegar) lay all ingredients as shown above, roll the seaweed with mat...starting gotta make sure it's tight otherwise when you cut later ingredients may fall out okie? (^_*)
