korean food & hot bachelorettes!



i actually went to 2 korean restaurants on separate occasions...*ignoring the 2 chio bu above* i wonder why koreans like to stuff themselves with all the side dishes before having the mains? how to finish the meat later?!


the korean ginseng soup at crystal jade is very 'geng'..as always with all crystal jade's signature soups but the glutinous rice has diminished significantly nowadays..i used to like their cold noodle too coz they actually put ice cubes made with stock inside!


jojo's fav seafood pancake and my cold noodle at jushinjung where i first tried n fell in luv with it! even tho' many will know that i like cold stuff n all somehow i don't fancy cold soba japanese styled but korea's cold noodle has a different texture to it...chewy n really cold not lukewarm lor like when you place soba out to dip it in the sauce ha! ok i'm digressing with my food nitpicks again ~


sigh...they didn't have the fresh beef ribs which cynthia says they roll it up in 1 piece with the bone but this is nice too just abit paltry...for meat lovers like moi >_<

lounging @ wine company off dempsey road which *gasp* is so happening now! they were agreeing that MY sony ericsson takes the best hp picture which makes them look so demure n preetty innit!

my new work space


i've been cam shy lately. ok see the fengshui @ my workstation? bad right? anyone who walks in on the left gets a bird's eye view of my monitor! plus the partition...it's so low everyone knows if you're working or not =pp



had a welcome lunch at DOMVS sheraton towers expensive but not so good italian food!



probably irrelevant but mocha tiramisu cake from marriott! only the macaroons on top are nice tho'



ta-dah! my big boss says this is his 'salad' everyday but it's actually our decor for the recept area! haha went down to concourse to look at artificial plants and saw this at exims arts. the plant designer does really good art work except for this which is really abstract. but you can change it according to seasons and now's bumblebee time! i'll try to post pic whenever we change it so you guys can see the effect...not cheap le S$188!

n the secret work i'm doing for da bomb company...not terrorist la make another guess!

phew

as some of you may know i've started my new job recently whee! though it sounded like good news at that time but in retrospect there's really not much cause for celebration. because i'm so bushed in the office the whole day there's been absolutely nil time to msn & blog. bummer! i know *grumble grumble* and since my monitor screen is facing everyone else walking past i can't find any privacy to do my own surfing..well ie. if i could even spare precious moments for it =[ argghh let me settle down some more and we'll see what happens. anyway i'll try to blog about my new workstation soon O_o

previously when i was very eng i've been hooked onto some drama series unfortch now i try not to 'chase' it on weekday nights (coz gotta work my ass off next morn?) n could only patiently wait for the weekends...
coffee prince is sooo addictive i tell you i've been painstakingly stalking the subscriber who uploads (& translates i think) it on youtube so that i can always catch the latest episodes with subtitles ^_*

the plot is abit like hana kimi with alot more gay issues eer and that imoho YEH is much cuter as a 'boy' than ella so once again the gender is the trick that makes this series more watchable than the rest besides that the overall tempo/feel of the show the soundtrack makes it more endearing too & i found this blog dramabeans which summarised and translated every episode so far even the korean novel it was based on..enjoy (~_~)

i must say i'm usually not into taiwan's 偶像剧 well sometimes for obvious reasons (okaay except for F4's meteor garden) but then i started watching 换换爱 whilst stoning at home and have not stopped since =]

ok the reason why i don't like k-dramas is coz it's too long winded ( eh think da chang jin) so most of the time i WILL fast forward some bits but not my lovely samsoon and this show is by the same director! kekeke i'm getting some vibes so hopefully it will turn out just as nice...well at least the drool factor here is eric of shinhwa（＾〜＾＊）

THIS i heard this is reaally good about a rogue doctor played by
jang hyuk ( 。・_・。) who came to care for a mother n daughter pair contracted with AIDS...so you can imagine how heart wrenching it becomes >_<
i've only caught ep1 and he's cute lor! aren't asians great?! they are soo #$%# free to upload each episode (in parts mind you) and are morally capable of any copyright infringement (think piracy) but hey who's complaining? you know in comparison i can't even find a full episode of grey's anatomy latest season on da tube..
